R. Roger Rowe School (K-8)

The R. Roger Rowe School in Rancho Santa Fe is located in the town center and provides education for both elementary and middle grades K-8. “It is the best public education with private amenities.”

High Schools

Canyon Crest Academy

Canyon Crest was founded in 2004 to help meet the demand created by a large number of incoming high school students in North County. Since its creation, CCA has already been ranked as one of the top 15 public schools in California by the U.S. News and World Report.

San Dieguito

SDA is the oldest high school in North County San Diego, and was founded in 1936. It has been ranked as one of the top 50 public schools in California.

Torrey Pines High School

Torrey Pines, along with Canyon Crest and Cathedral Catholic High School, is located in Carmel Valley, a region close to the most affluent neighborhoods of San Diego County. Torrey Pines has been named one of the top 15 public schools in California.

Private High Schools

The Bishop's School

The Bishop’s School in La Jolla is an Episcopalian day school founded in 1909. It is regarded as one of the county’s most successful college preparatory schools and was ranked by the Wall Street Journal as the highest ranked high school in San Diego.

Cathedral Catholic High School

CCHS is the only Catholic High School near Rancho Santa Fe. It is affiliated with the diocese of San Diego and was moved to its current location in 2005. It is a two-time honoree of the Four Stars Ranking of GreatSchools.org.

La Jolla Country Day

La Jolla Country Day school is a highly selective private school in La Jolla. It was ranked in 2007 by the San Diego Union Tribune as the best high school in San Diego.

San Diego Jewish Academy

The San Diego Jewish Academy is an independent Jewish Day school located in Carmel Valley.

Santa Fe Christian

The Santa Fe Christian schools are private college preparatory Christian schools located in Solana Beach.
